SHIELD EXTEND Battery Box Unit (BBU)

The SHIELD EXTEND Battery Backup Unit (BBU) ensures uninterrupted direct current and charges the SHIELD EXTEND ERCES Integrated public safety DAS systems. Should there be a power outage, the BBU ensures that SHIELD EXTEND continues to operate at its best for a duration of up to 12 hours. Meeting NEMA 4 standards and listed under UL 2524, the BBU accommodates four 12-volt lead-acid batteries. It also comes with fixtures for wall installation and cables to link with the SHIELD EXTEND Management Unit.
