Shield Extend Coverage Unit (NU)

The Network Unit (NU) stands as the primary component in SHIELD EXTEND installations. It digitizes and processes distinct off-air LMR and FirstNet donor signals, then relays them to the system’s Coverage Units (CUs). Each NU is designed to support and energize up to six CUs, allowing coverage of up to 320K ft² per CU, utilizing a scalable PoE framework.
